You've stumbled on to my BABY TIME pages. Now that I've gotten the hang of Roxer, I've found its easier to use it to hold my notes and links and other personal stuff I keep here than it is to jot them down, or even keep them in files on my computer. And since I'll be keeping notes here anyway, I figured I'd put them in some sort of order and articulation so that other people browsing by could possibly make use of it all as well.
A little about me and babies. I'm what I call a Professional Mom. People can have lots of jobs and hobbies in their lives, but when they stop doing most everything else, and focus on only one thing (especially as a career), they go pro. I don't know why more people don't see that "Stay Home Moms" are Professionals. Instead of hiring someone to raise their children part or full time, they hire themselves. I especially consider myself a Professional Mom because I also homeschool my children. I spend nearly 100% of my time on my kids, and judging by the results, I'm a pretty good Pro Mom.
Recently my husband and I decided to have another child. This will be our third. Its a bit of a commitment too because I don't want odd numbers of kids either, so this will be the third of four in the grand scheme if all goes well.
I'm really excited about it all. So this is where I'll be organizing my notes and advice for myself and anyone else who appreciates it. Should be good too. I've studied being a parent since I was 10 years old and been a child care provider for about 8 years of my life, but now that I have 5 years of actual direct parenting experience and my daughter and son, I'm no longer a novice, so this stuff should be pretty useful! :)
